Updates and some more garden pics-

First a TU SAL update-
I haven't posted and Sense & Sensibility progrss for a while- sorry for the oddball picure-
And now for some more of God's beautiful creation!
and here is one of the buildings next to the castle- I can't remember for sure what it was- maybe the kitchen? (We didn't visit it that day.)
And last but not least- the kids in the guard station!

Just a few snaps from today-

Today my family and I went to Tryon Palace in New Bern, NC.  They were having a special gardening weekend, where they sold plants from the palace gardens (I think that's where they were from)  and had some beautiful floral displays in the gardens.  I took a TON of pictures, so rather than have one huge post, I will add them to posts over a series of days, along with stitching snaps when I have them.. here are a few to start-
The palace itself-when I was out here I kept remembering Mrs Elton's quote from Emma about "extensive grounds." lol


I wish you could smell these wisteria- they were hanging all over the side of the visitor/information ce
nter for the palace.  You could simply stand in front of the wall and smell them- heavenly!
