I had a lot of stitching time this weekend, and almost finished this Bent Creek freebie. Of course I ran out of WDW Onyx last night! I am hoping the local quilting store has some as the carry a limited supply of Weeks. If not I will have to order some. Also need a candy corn button, I didn't realize it called for one til I had already started. Oh well.. it's cute without it in the meantime.

Awww--how cute is that little owl! Don't you hate it when you run out of materials, Tracey? I have no needlework shop anywhere near me so I have to order everything online. I'll bet a stitched "candy corn" would look just as cute if you can fit it in...
That's a great idea Carol! I may try that. I also noticed after I posted that last night I pulled out a mistake and I re-stitched it the same way! Duh! (my O in Who looks like a Q!)
