Progress on Winter Wonderland.. and another "take my kid to work day!"

Here is my weekend progress on LHN's Winter Wonderland..

Little man is doing better, no fever today but still has a bit of a cough so I am going to take him to work again tomorrow I think. I am fighting a little something myself.. I felt pretty bad earlier but am doing better.. still have a tickly throat. Not much happened this weekend since I was trying to keep the little one at home. I am hoping I will feel well enough to go to zumba class tomorrow!

Glad to hear he's feeling a bit better today. I remember those days with sick kids...exhausting! Your Winter Wonderland is coming along nicely--can't wait to see it finished :) Hope you have a good day, Tracey!

By the way...on our homeschool egroup there is a discussion going on right now about how to get a fever to come down.Believe it or not, soak a pair of socks in vinegar and put them on.In a while the fever will either be down or gone. Now I haven't done this because I just learned about it ,but those who have swears it works. They do mention that you want the fever to linger a little bit before doing this as the body needs the fever for a while to kill toxins and so forth from the body.Which is why we have a fever when we're sick. However with the young ones you don't want the fever to hang on for a long time, especially if it's high.Hope your guy has a speedy recovery.
