hmm...maybe green like in tink's outfit? i dunno just a thought. beading? (see how much I know about cross stitching!). just wanted to let you know i've nominated you for an award. :)
If only we could all "take shape" like Tink! :)
For the outline, I'd try the same color as the letters are stitched in - only a shade or two darker.
Maybe the same color as the wings - are they going to be backstitched, too? If not, just a tad darker that the wing outline now, maybe?

Oh I love your Tinkerbell. Where did you get the pattern. My granddaughter is in love with Tink and this would such a cool stitche.
