updates and more..

I really need to make time to blog more, I miss it!!  I realized today I never posted the Mother's Day gift I was working on during jury duty.. I really thought I did!!

As you can see I have yet to "finish" it-hopefully soon.. (pattern for this is available free at http://www.cross-stitching.com/.)
I worked a bit on my border for "Little Christmas" tonight-here is how that is coming along-

I almost forgot about the TUSAL! So here is that as well. :)

I didn't realize when I took that picture it was so crooked! lol
I am still plugging away on the E of Stitcher's Alphabet and my S&S Sampler- I will post updates on those later this week. :)
I never finished my picture tour from when Mom and Dad were here- let's see what I haven't shown you yet. :)
Here's one of little man at the beach..

Here's my mom and David, and some people in period costumes at Fort Macon.

I took this one inside the fort-it was really cool. On the outside were all these doors that looked like separate rooms, then when you go into them, there is this hallway that connects them all in the back of each room. Looking down the hall makes for a neat picture. :)

The view from the top of the fort, which by the way is a bit nerve-wracking to walk on,esp. with kids, as there is not railing to keep you from falling down into the center of the fort!

My little ham, I mean man, again. :)

The sunset on the way home- I couldn't get a very good shot unfortunately!
I think that's about it for now.. I will try to be better about posting more often! :)

This Brit had to google Fort Macon then realised why it was built - to keep out my countrymen! Lovely trip you had and looks like the little ham (whoops, man!)enjoyed it too!
