Sorry it's taken me so long!!!

Life has been getting in the way of blogging- Mother's Day weekend was nice, we didn't do much but I was thankful to just stay home and relax.. I knew ahead of time we weren't going out or anything, not that we didn't want to, just that money is tight right now- but Rob and the kids gave me sweet cards and I spent most of the day relaxing and stitching and reading. :)
Now for some stitchy updates- I have had jury service this week so I have had plenty of time to stitch and read some more! lol I have been working on my grandma's Mother Day present- the one I didn't show you yet- here it is so far(I hope she doesn't see it!)-
Here is the latest on Sense & Sensibility-

I didn't take a picture of "E" because I haven't made much progress- right now it's just a blob of white!
I can't decide what to work on tonight.. technically it's my night to work on S&S, but given my lack of progress on E, I'm wondering if I should work on that..

And here is the other Grandma piece- finished.. was going to wait til I had made it into something to post, but it may be delayed due to the aforementioned lack of funds..I'm glad my grandmas are patient ladies! lol  I want to go by the quilt shop to find some pretty fabric to make this into a little flatfold.
The library book sale was two weekends ago- those things are so addicting- between Hanna and I I think we got 35 paperbacks, and a few other books.. then I went back the Monday after and picked up 5 more that were left over from the sale.  I was surprised at the amount of books left this year! Probably people still had lots of books left from the last sale- I know I did but it didn't stop me. lol You can't beat 5 books for 1.00! Of course David got some too- I took him on Sunday and let him pick a few as well.  Well, I better go if I'm going to get any stitching done!! Hope the rest of your week is great! I will try to check in more often.

Lovely stitching! Grandmas are patient people, and they are not going to mind the wait when they see what is in store for them! *Hugs*

Beautiful stitching!! All three are wonderful, and I especially like the colors in your grandmother's mother's day present!

Good for you on the book score. I can never pass up a book sale, and my kids know that I can never pass up them asking me to buy them books, either!
