A "G" update..

Thanks for being patient with me! Hanna starts school tomorrow so hopefully things will be back on a routine again and I will be back posting more often.  This summer has been far from lazy!  I have been making some fair progress on G though- "Summer House" is put by the wayside for now, probably will be for a while. I am going to get into fall and winter mode soon!  Here is my G as it looks today-
I also started a 4 My Boys design-"Wishing Waiting Hoping", last weekend. Didn't get very far so maybe I will post a pic after this weekend. :)
As I mentioned before Hanna starts school tomorrow- she is very nervous.  Last year was her first year at the middle school and was not a good year for her- several kids were verbally bullying her, saying no one liked her, calling her names etc.  Needless to say she is NOT looking forward to tomorrow, and I just hate it. Please keep her in your prayers- that she has a better year, and realizes what a great kid she is. I hate to see her like this.
Well, it's going to be an early morning tomorrow! I better be off to bed.  Thanks for "listening"(reading.) And for hanging in with me this summer! I know my posts have been sporadic at best. I will try to get back on the ball!

G looks great!
Good luck to Hannah at school. I just don't understand why kids would do that kind of thing. Makes me wonder what their parents are doing. Anyway, best of luck to her.

This kind of things like bullying other kids seem to happen all the time. I hope that Hanna will have a better school year and wish her all the best of luck for a new start.

Oh bullying is so awful! I wish there was some way to get through to these kids how much damage they can cause.
I hope Hannah has a much better year.

First, I love Hanna's glasses, she looks so cute!!

As for the bullying, it is such a terrible thing for kids to deal with and unfortunately, some of those bullys continue into adulthood.

Here's hoping for a better school year for her.

Tracy I do feel for Hannah, and you of course, are the school well aware of what is going on. My eldest grandson went through it when he went to senior school, but with the help of his teachers and lots of visits phone calls to school by his parents he has come through , still gets called names etc mostly due to his red hair, but he has come through being chosen as deputy head boy for his last year. So chin up Hannah ,you are better than them , hope the year goes well.

Hopefully Hannah will have a great start to the school year. I would just give her much support, many hugs and make sure the school is aware of any issues that may arise.

I feel for Hannah. I had the same problem in school until my mom changed my school.

I had the same problem with my son the very first week of school last year (it was a continuation of issues from the previous year). I immediately contacted his teacher and the principal and politely asked them to "deal with it." I would have contacted the police if I had too. Lucky for us we had a new principal who brought a no bullying policy to our school.

Bullying is very serious. Teenagers have been known to do serious things to themselves because they feel so horrible about being bullied. Please take care!

oh my gosh! I had no idea that Hanna's first year was a rough one. That's horrible because she seems so sweet! I can understand why she wouldn't be looking forward to tomorrow. Have you read 'Queen Bees and Wanna-bes? jw.

My heart breaks for Hanna! And for you--I know how much anguish you feel, watching her suffer through that. My girls have had their own share of problems, but my older daughter had a horrendous time with a group of former friends who decided she no longer belonged in the group. She went through a year of waiting till we were past sight of the school and then she'd burst into sobs. The ring leader is the daughter of a teacher--and the niece of the man married to my husband's sister. Go figure. Anyway, big hugs to both of you. Lots of prayers for Hanna, too, that she has a great year and sees what a wonderful kid she is.

Great stitching!
