Need opinions please..

Ok, as some of you saw in a previous post- I am stitching "Jane Austen on the Weather" and changed the colors a bit.  I am almost finished-but the color I chose for the block surrounding the year doesn't look right(it was gray.)  So I stitched the year, but should I add the box around it in a different color, (suggestions please :) ) or leave it be? This is what it looks like right now.
Sorry for the crappy pic! Thanks for your opinions. :)

Hi Tracy: I would try a plum color or maybe a little darker color than the color you used for the lettering, very pretty pattern I love the colors.

This looks pretty Tracey! I would try the darker color you used for the lettering or a pale green.

I'm not good at this sort of thing, but I would use a darker color to surround it. It would help it to show up better IMO.

HI, Tracey!
I'm not good with changing colors, but why don't you try a darker color? It looks lovely!
Hey, I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog and for the nice post. The BB that I stitched is still available and called Willow House. I saw it on Hoffman.

I would surround it with the darker color, too. Haven't stitched this sampler, but it looks really nice.

Tracey, the darkest color in the wording thread would look good and you wouldn't have to go outside of the colors used. It's not that much stitching so don't think you'd waste too much of the darker color. Just me :)

I will be the odd one out and say to leave it as is. Do you want the year to stand out? I guess if you want it more prominent, then do make changes. It looks good, though!
